Easter Holiday Recipes
From the response we received from our Christmas Recipes in December, I decided to make one for Easter this year. For those who are unaware, Easter falls on Sunday March 27 this year. The last time Easter was in March was in 2008, and that is coming after a 100 year drought from the previous time in 1913. So, what does this mean for me?………….
There is less time to prepare, clean and cook for the friends and family you have invited over this year. Don’t worry. There is still over a month away, and these recipes will save you time, blow the taste buds off of your company and allow you to try something different than the typical devilled eggs and hot crossed buns; both of which I absolutely love.
Easter is always filled with laughs, love, memories and great food with my family. Regardless of who is hosting Easter, or what city we are in; all that matters is the company and the time we spend together…the food and drinks are a close second. For a little more family time, I recommend inviting over nieces, nephews, grandchildren or really anyone to help out with the preparation. This encourages the kids to get involved and they will take pride and feel great about helping out for the holiday.
Please leave your responses below on how the recipes turned out for you and how you and your family enjoyed them.
